Mr. Saroch Chayavivatkul, Managing Director of Thai Beverage Can Ltd., together with executives and Mr. Vichien Rungwattanakit, Senior Vice President of Packaging and Engineering Business at Berli Jucker Public Co. Ltd., participated in the inauguration ceremony of the Solar Rooftop on the TBC factory roof.
Reducing the use of polluting fossil fuels and increasing the use of clean energy are key goals in TBC’s commitment to product responsibility and sustainable environmental development, which TBC prioritizes and is determined to achieve in the long term.
Phase 1 of this Solar Rooftop project is expected to generate up to 1 MWh, roughly 1,498,500 kWh/year, and will increase to 2.7 MWh in Phase 2, starting at the end of 2022.
This initiative will also significantly reduce CO2 emissions by up to 688 tons per year.
