Thai Beverage Can Ltd. has seen the importance of using resources to the utmost productivity and effectiveness by using the Circular Economy ideology. The company has extended its producer responsibility to manage aluminium cans throughout the whole cycle. From designing, producing and delivery; to post-consumption management by supporting the collection of recycled content to produce new packagings. Since aluminium can be 100% recycled directly back into itself over and over again in a true closed loop, this process could help lessen the use of primary aluminium. The circular economy of aluminium can could be a great illustration of Bio Economy, Circular Economy and Green Economy: The BCG Model and sustainable business models.

The Standard System in TBC

Our organization is deeply concerned about achieving our goals and objectives, in the area of environmental, social, and corporate governance. In order to do so, we have implemented many ISO management system standards along with undergoing the process to receive an ASI certificate.

TBC as an aluminium cans and lids manufacturer, has noticed the importance of production process that believes in ESG (Environment, Social, Governance), the idea of sustainable business, with TBC as the first aluminium maker in Thailand and in Southeast Asia that has been certified by ASI for ASI Performance Standard and ASI Chain of Custody Standard.

Currently we have achieved Quality Management System: ISO 9001, Food Safety Management System Standard for Packaging: BRCGS, Environmental Management System: ISO 14001, Occupational Health and Safety Management System: ISO 45001, Standards for Testing Laboratories: ISO/IEC 17025, CFP (Carbon Footprint of Product), CFO (Carbon footprint of Organization), WFP (Water Footprint), Green Industry, Circular Mark, and Circular Economy Management System (CEMS).

These system standards help our organizations improve performance by encouraging continuous cycles of self-evaluation, correction and improvement of operations and processes through heightened employee awareness and management leadership and commitment.
