TBC Shares Knowledge on Waste Segregation and Provides Drinking Water in the “Khotchasit Unites Effort, Unites Heart for Household Waste Management Towards a Waste-Free Community ” Project.

On May 30, 2022, Thai Beverage Can Ltd. provided insights on waste segregation and supported drinking water and prizes for participants in the MOU signing event for the “Khotchasit Unites Effort, Unites Heart for Household Waste Management Towards a Waste-Free Community” project.

The administrative team of Kotchasit sub-district, led by Mr. Paithoon Kuptaphansonti, assigned Mr. Yuttana Sukulchat, Mr. Somsak Khongsomnuan, Deputy Mayors, and Mr. Nathee Sukulchat, Advisor to the Mayor, to sign the MOU with the abbot of Wat Khon Cha-Ngok, local school directors, and community chairpersons to cooperatively manage community waste. Moreover, participants were also given organic waste bins and recycling mesh bags, supported by a team of mentors including Mr. Prapon Paotong, Mr. Tawat Buasuwan, Ms. Somkid Maliwan, and Ms. Vilawan Trakulkiat.

This event is part of the TBC SG 2030 plan, aimed at sustainability based on social, economic, and environmental responsibilities, catering to the needs of all stakeholders, and promoting the country’s development strategy towards a sustainable economy, the BCG Model, an economic model for Thailand’s sustainable development. The strategy for Product Stewardship: Climate Leader focuses on leading climate change initiatives, with long-term goals for sustainable organizational management. It aims to elevate business practices towards “sustainable development” grounded in responsibility towards society, economy, and environment, to meet the needs of all stakeholders.
