Thai Beverage Can Limited (TBC) joined HOPE TALK, an event organized by SPRiNG and LOOPERS, to exchange perspectives on addressing the climate crisis by driving change through hope rather than communicating through fear.
During the event, Ms. Kitiya Santaveesuk, Associate Vice President – Sustainability and Corporate Affairs, Thai Beverage Can Limited, shared her perspective as a Movement Maker. She emphasized that sustainability does not have to begin with perfection. No one needs to be 100% environmentally friendly from the start. Instead, meaningful change can begin with awareness, acknowledging imperfections, and taking small but consistent steps to change behaviors, creating positive long-term impacts.
The discussion also featured a hypothetical scenario designed to explore possible environmental futures. One of the topics raised was: “What if every Thai citizen could separate waste perfectly?” Such a scenario could lead to greater demand for environmentally friendly packaging and encourage businesses to accelerate their transition toward more sustainable practices.
The discussion reinforced that addressing the climate crisis requires collaboration across all sectors of society to turn hope into action and create sustainable change together.
