TBC, a Co-Founder of TSCN, Participates in the TSCN Business Partner Conference 2024
On 4 October 2024, the Thailand Supply Chain Network (TSCN) hosted the SX Partnerships for the Goals: TSCN Business Partner Conference 2024 at the SX Grand Plenary Hall, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
The event featured CEO panels discussing topics such as “Sustainable Hospitality and Mobility” and “Vision 2030: The Power of Collaboration Toward a Sustainable Future.” It also included a declaration of commitment to the TSCN Business Partner Code of Conduct, which provides ethical, sustainable, and inclusive guidelines for TSCN business partners. This code aligns with ESG principles, emphasizing Environment, Social, and Governance considerations to ensure sustainable and ethical business practices that respect all stakeholders. Representing Thai Beverage Can Ltd., Mr. Pavin Chayavivatkul, TBC Vice President of Corporate Strategy, participated in this commitment declaration.
Additionally, the TSCN Sustainability Award 2024 was presented for the first time to recognize outstanding sustainability projects by business partners of TSCN Co-Founders. TBC nominated UACJ (Thailand) Company Limited for the award for their collaboration on the “Transparency of Aluminium Can Closed-Loop Recycling” initiative, which gave rise to the Aluminium Loop project. This project promotes a comprehensive recycling system for used aluminium cans in Thailand, enabling them to be recycled into new aluminium beverage cans repeatedly (Can-to-Can). It also aims to improve the efficiency of collection and sorting processes to enhance the quality of used aluminium cans, increasing the Recycling Rate and the Recycled Content ratio in aluminium can production. The initiative aligns with TBC Sustainability Goals 2030, particularly in the area of Product Stewardship, which focuses on real circularity. TBC collaborates with partners in the aluminium industry to develop an efficient Closed-Loop Recycling system in Thailand, contributing to the organization’s long-term sustainability strategy.
