On 6 August 2024, TBC participated in the C asean Forum (CaF) 2024 under the theme “Pioneering the Future of ASEAN Green Procurement” at C asean, CW Tower, Ratchadaphisek. The event was organized by C asean in collaboration with the Thailand Supply Chain Network (TSCN) and the ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD). The forum emphasized the importance of ASEAN countries considering environmentally friendly procurement practices as a path toward sustainability.
The event was attended by over 300 participants, including embassy representatives, government officials, educators, TSCN network members, and members of the Purchasing and Supply Chain Management Association of Thailand. They shared information, inspired one another, and discussed actionable strategies for implementing Green Procurement across ASEAN and Thailand. The event combined diverse perspectives and experiences with industry practices and relevant sectors.
TBC, along with Aluminium Loop, set up a booth to showcase aluminium cans that can be fully recycled into new cans, making them a sustainable packaging solution for businesses committed to sustainability, and highlighting the importance of environmentally conscious procurement. TBC’s Commercial & Supply Chain Management team also participated in the event and attended seminars on interesting procurement topics.
