On November 30, 2021, TBC signed an MOU for Sustainable Community Waste Management with the Thailand Institute of Packaging and Recycling Management for Sustainable Environment (TIPMSE), Nong Khae District, and Wihan Daeng District. The signing took place at a meeting room in Nong Khae, Saraburi, during an event to empower community waste management efforts.
This collaboration between government, private sectors, and local communities aims to enhance waste management practices and educate communities through lectures on waste and post-use packaging management. It also aims to promote the recycling of aluminium packaging materials into new raw materials. This effort highlights TBC’s significant role in driving the management of used aluminium packaging towards aligning with the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) principle.
